Yuzuru Tachikawa (立川 譲 Tachikawa Yuzuru ) is a Japanese anime film director. He is known for Death Parade, Mob Psycho 100 and Deca-Dence.

Biography
Yuzuru Tachikawa was born in 1981 in Iruma District, near the major cities of Saitama and Kawagoe[1]. He later studied at the Nihon University College of Art (日本大学芸術学部), before joining animation studio Madhouse (マッドハウス)[2].
He debuted in 2007 by animating the final episode of Kiba (牙-KIBA-); whereupon he became a freelancer[3]. In 2012, Tachikawa was the director of OVA Arata-naru Sekai[4]. The following year, he directed movie Death Billiards (アラタなるセカイ) for Madhouse, which ended up becoming a series; later on, he directed Death Parade (デス・パレード), which was his first attempt at TV animation direction[5][6].
Since 2016, he is the director of anime series Mob Psycho 100 (モブサイコ100), which has received many nominations at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards: the 1st season won the "Best Fight Scene and Best Action"; the 2nd season won the "Best Animation and Best Opening Sequence"[7][8]. In addition, he was also nominated "Best Director" for anime Deca-Dence (デカダンス)[9][10].
In 2018, he was announced as director for Movie 22: Zero the Enforcer, and he was later announced on November 30, 2022 to direct another Detective Conan movie titled Movie 26: Black Iron Submarine.
