Masako Sato (佐藤 雅子 Satō Masako) is a Japanese technical director, animation director, and storyboard artist from Tokyo. As of now, she only did episode directing for Detective Conan spin-offs The Culprit Hanzawa.
Biography
Masako Sato belongs to Studio Ghibli (スタジオジブリ), she usually participates in the production of sports-themed anime, and has been in charge of the episode directing of the anime series Haikyu!! (ハイキュー!!) for a while, and became the series director for its fourth season.
Ever since the Detective Conan spin-off The Culprit Hanzawa has broadcast, Sato got involved in the production of the animation: sequentially served as an episode director throughout Season 1.
