Masayuki Ishibori has started doing key animation for Detective Conan anime since 2022, starting with Episode 1051: Intrigue at Morikawa Mansion (Part 2). In the same year, Episode 1052: The Detective Boys' Test of Courage, he was promoted to animation director.
In 2023, Ishibori began to participate in the production of the Detective Conan movies.
