Situation
Kogoro and Conan visited Inspector Megure, by reason of their unpromising progress of the case that they were assisting to investigate. The suspect of that case was called Kitao Kengo, a former elementary school teacher. Eight days ago, he was cuffed by the cops at a construction area as the suspect of the murder case which took place nearby; strangely, Kengo admitted his crime rather quickly, but however the police interrogated him, he yet rendered queer behaviours that made Megure hesitate on prosecuting him. Inspector Megure and his colleagues thought that there must be some switcheroos behind the case; consequently, they started to search for other suspects related to that murder case. Whereupon a person who was related to Kengo emerged gradually...
