Akane Imada (今田 茜 Imada Akane) is a Japanese animation producer and sub-scharacter designer. She takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime and movies.

Biography
Akane Imada was originally affiliated with Studio Wanpack. Imade joined the production of the Detective Conan anime in 2009, starting with Episode 532: The Scar of First Love, in which she was in charge of in-between animation. Some time later, she began to do key animation as well.
In 2014, Imada took over Miho Tanaka's position as the animation director for Studio Wanpack.
In 2015, after doing the animation direction work of Episode 802: Tottori Sand Dunes Mystery Tour (Tottori Part), Imada left Studio Wanpack, but still returned in 2017 and served as animation director for another three anime episodes. Her latest work in the Detective Conan anime is the key animation of Episode 917: The Kendo Tournament of Love and Mystery (Part 2) from 2018.
