Biography

Takako Honda started aiming to become a voice actress after watching the Japanese dub of Dirty Harry with her father, who asked her if she knew who played Inspector Callahan, the main character in the movie. He then told her it was the same voice actor as Lupin III, Yasuo Yamada, and this revelation made her want to become a voice actress[1]. She graduated with the 10th class of Katsuta Voice Acting Academy. When she started her voice acting career, she was first affiliated with voice acting agency Office Kaoru[2].

She is known for dubbing the roles of Milla Jovovich, which the latter praises for the quality of Honda's acting, notably in the Resident Evil franchise[3][4][5].
