Kazumi Tsukamoto (塚本 和美 Tsukamoto Kazumi) is a character in the manga and anime franchise Detective Conan.
Background
Kazumi Tsukamoto is a junior who was formerly the captain of the karate club, the same club Ran is part of.
Plot overview
Kazumi first appeared in chapter 457 of the manga and episode 361 in the anime. She met Ran, Conan, Sonoko, and Dr.Araide as they investigated hauntings related to a deceased student named Hosaka. Eventually the culprit was revealed by Conan using Sonoko, the "Deduction Queen".
Kazumi made another appearance in episode 592, in which she fought Ran in a karate match.
Personality
Kazumi doesn't believe in supernatural things such as ghosts. When the hauntings related to Hokasa began at Teitan High, she was very frustrated by them and wished to teach the culprit a lesson when he was caught.
