Akihiko Nishiyama (西山 明樹彦 ,Nishiyama Akihiko) is a Japanese technical director from Kanagawa Prefecture. He does storyboard works for Detective Conan anime.

Biography

Ever since 1983, Nishiyama served as production assistant and assistant episode director for Toei Animation. Which he involved in the production of some anime series such as Stop!! Hibari-kun! (ストップ!! ひばりくん!) and Hokuto no Ken: Seiki Matsukyu Seishi Densetsu (世紀末救世主伝説 北斗の拳) etc. In 1987, he was active as a freelance director. Nishiyama passed away in 2008. His last work during life-time was the episode director of the 3rd episode of sola.
