Aki Yokoyama (横山 亜紀 Yokoyama Aki?, ??? – 2023) is a Japanese sound effect engineer. She was responsible for the sound effects in Detective Conan anime from episodes 345 to 1118 and simultaneously in some movies. She is the daughter of Masakazu Yokoyama.

Biography

Just like her father, Aki Yokoyama was affiliated with Yokoyama Sound Effects (サウンドエフェクト横山) and often collaborated with sound production company AUDIO PLANNING U.

Along with her father Masakazu Yokoyama, Aki worked as sound effect in the Detective Conan anime, starting with Episode 345: Head-to-Head Match with the Black Organization: A Dual Mystery on a Full Moon Night. In the Detective Conan movies, she first started as assistant sound effect in 2002, Movie 6: The Phantom of Baker Street, then promoted to work alongside her father in Movie 10: The Private Eyes' Requiem.

On December 14, 2023, Aki passed away; in the following year, Movie 27: The Million-dollar Pentagram put a title card "In memory of Aki Yokoyama" at the end credits of the film[Note 1].
