Katsuya Shigehara (重原 克也 Shigehara Katsuya) is a Japanese anime film director, storyboard artist, and key animator. He takes part in the production of Detective Conan movies.

Biography
Katsuya Shigehara debuted in 2007 by virtue of the animation work Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku o! (護くんに女神の祝福を!); in the following seven years, he mainly worked as a key animator. In 2014, Shigehara served as episode director in Rail Wars! for the first time; in the same year he became an assistant animation director in the 2nd Season of Encouragement of Climb (ヤマノススメ セカンドシーズン). In 2016, he was involved in the production of Mob Psycho 100 (モブサイコ100); in 2024, he served as sub-director in Brave Bang Bravern! (勇気爆発バーンブレイバーン) for the first time.
In Detective Conan, Shigehara has worked on several movies, as a technical director and key animator, starting with Movie 22: Zero the Enforcer in 2018. Aside from that, he also served as stroyboard artist and technical director for ED58 Aozolighter. Incidentally, Shigehara frequently works with Yuzuru Tachikawa.
In 2024, he was in charge of the overall direction of Movie 28.
