There are two (or three?) officers part of Nakamori's team who I think are recurring in Magic Kaito. In MK 9 both wear suits instead of the usual uniforms, one has square hair, the other is thinner and has longer hair. Can anyone check and see if they recognize them from earlier episodes? Skyechan claims this guy is a recurring officer. Now that I put them side by side, the longer haired guy may be a mod of the earlier Nakamori assistant and he would qualify as reoccuring for sure in MK and DC. Chekhov MacGuffin ^talk 20:47, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

Merge with Magic Kaito

Shouldn't we merge this page with Magic Kaito? Neither page is very long, and a few characters are present in both lists. Anyway, some facts on this page are wrong or misleading: for example Detective Konno is not an anime-only character, as he appears in chapters 23-24 of MK (originally published in 1999), even though he is unnamed there. --87.9.52.135 00:48, 5 October 2014 (CEST)

Anyway, I am not a fan of smashing the list of minor characters in Magic Kaito onto the main Magic Kaito page. There is a lot of information to cover on that page related to Magic Kaito beyond characters, so there is no point overwhelming the main landing page for Magic Kaito with minor characters. It's the same way I feel about the Law Enforcement page and how we shouldn't put all the Minor Law Enforcement on it. If there were a Magic Kaito characters page like we have for DC proper, I would be okay with a longer page with more characters.

In general I agree with having a spin-off article if the main one is becoming too long; however right now Magic Kaito lists 15 characters, while List of minor Magic Kaito characters lists only 11 characters, some of which are already present in Magic Kaito (sometimes in different roles: in the main article Keiko is a protagonist, and in the spin-off article she is a recurring minor manga character).

As for Detective Konno... as I said in both one of the edits that you reverted, and in the discussion linked in my previous message, he appears in chapters 23-24 (The Clocktower Heist where Kaito fights Shinichi). He is unnamed, however, and the name Konno comes from the specials. --87.8.35.238 21:06, 5 October 2014 (CEST)
