Inclusion of the virtual reality characters and cases

I think it is worthwhile to include the virtual reality characters and cases because:

1. They are part of a mystery relevant to the plot, even if the crimes were not real. We can tag them as not being real.
2. Someone looking for information on the events in this movie would appreciate having both the real and fake crimes laid out for them, as well as the virtual reality characters.
