The Scarlet Alibi is a compilation movie in the Detective Conan franchise. It was released in Japan on February 11, 2021. It was made for commemorating the release of The Scarlet Bullet on April 16, 2021, which was originally scheduled to be released in Japan on April 17, 2020, but was postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

In the post credit scene, Shuichi Akai looks at a bullet and apologizes for keeping the viewer waiting for The Scarlet Bullet, which was postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic. Akai then says that the viewer should not make such a face because they will see each other again soon. The movie ends with The Scarlet Bullet trailer.

In this movie and the original manga, Akai is shown to cock and fire the shotgun singlehandedly, having his right hand in his pocket.
