The Norwegian version of the Detective Conan Manga started in 2004 at the same time as the finnish manga. The name of the manga in norwegian can be transliterated as "The Master Detective Conan" (Mesterdetektiven Conan). It was published in Norsk Bokmål, main written form of Norwegian, by Egmont, a danish media group and one of the leading publishers in Scandinavia. 31 volumes have been published until Egmont ceased activities for the Norwegian Manga in 2008. The volumes were translated by Jens E. Røsåsen and volumes can still be found for sale at Bokklubben.
