Masahisa Koyata (古谷田 順久 Koyata Masahisa?)[Note 1] is a Japanese animator. He takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime and movies.

Biography

Masahisa Koyata was originally affiliated with Studio Wanpack. Koyata joined the production of the Detective Conan anime in Episode 350: The Forgotten Cell Phone (Part 1); he delegated Studio Wanpack and served as episode director in 2009. Throughout the same year, he stepped down as the regular episode director for the studio; meanwhile, his previous position was being taken over by Masakazu Yamazaki.

Since 2011, Koyata has been working as key animator for Detective Conan. Notably, in 2021, he started to work as (assistant) animation director for animation correction, starting with Episode 1027: Beyond the Curtain.
