Biography

Takashi Kawaguchi was originally from the Telecom Animation Film, and is now affiliated with TMS Entertainment; Kawaguchi debuted as an animator by virtue of Lupin III: The Fuma Conspiracy (ルパン三世 風魔一族の陰謀).

In 2000, he joined the Detective Conan anime production, starting with Episode 192: The Desperate Revival - Shinichi's Return; he left the anime production in 2001. Starting 2022, he returned to the anime production team and began to serve as key animator irregularly, for example, he did key animation of Episode 1042: Police Academy Arc Wild Police Story CASE. Kenji Hagiwara in 2022; key animation of Episode 1089: The Genius Restaurant in 2023 etc.

After Kawaguchi quit the Detective Conan anime production in 2001, he remained active in the Detective Conan movie production and was almost present in all Detective Conan movie key animation teams. In addition, he was one of the assistant animation directors in movies 19-20.
