Yusuke Shimizu (清水 雄介 Shimizu Yūsuke?) is a Japanese animator. He takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime and movies.

Biography

Yusuke Shimizu is affiliated with Mouse. Shimizu joined the Detective Conan anime production team in 2021 along with another member affiliated with the Mouse Studio, Eiichi Tokura, starting with Episode 1021: Rondo in Bad Company. Thereafter he began to regularly serve as animation director and key animator for the anime.

In mid-2023, after directing the animation of Episode 1091: Girls Day Mystery, Shimizu quit the anime production. Whereas later in Episode 1135: Momiji Ooka's Sweet Trap (Part 1) from 2024, Shimizu returned to the production team as animation director again.
