There was no murder, or other crime, going on in the Makabe house, but yet a medical emergency: unknown to Ayumi, Yuri was in the last stage of her pregnancy. Because she had miscarried once, Yuri had decided not to tell anyone until she was sure that the baby would be born healthy. When the water broke, an unusual amount of blood was released, hence the stains the Detective Boys found on the doll and beneath the bed. However, Jun managed to get his wife to a clinic in the mountains just in time. Yuri has delivered without any complications and was spending the last few days in the Yamanonaka Clinic to recover. | ||

Both people look injured, and Ayumi, peeking through the bushes, believes the man killed the woman.
