− | <spoiler> | + | <spoiler>Gecko's death resulted from a burglary attempt gone awry, with some unwitting contribution from '''Tomoe Awaji'''. During the night before, Gecko had tried to burgle her apartment from the outside, unaware that Awaji had her window secured just the day before. Mrs. Awaji, while filling up her washing machine, was lured to the living room window by one of the lightning strikes Professor Agasa has mentioned, and beheld Gecko right outside her window, illuminated by a lightning flash. Reflexively, she sprayed the window pane with the hose; and the rush of water, reminding him of his near-fatal accident, caused Gecko to panic and loose his grip, resulting in his fatal fall. |
