+ | <spoiler>Conan observed the recorded video feed and noticed that whenever the first culprit was on camera, the camera immediately turned away, and it was not a coincidence. His partner was thus likely to be the cameraman, who deliberately chose not to film him to avoid suspicion. The culprit is '''Hiruta'''. His motive was that the TV station inadvertently destroyed his and his partner's plan to rob a bank, because they arranged a TV show around the bank, which attracted a big crowd foiling their robbery plan. Hiruta's wife who was expecting money from that heist started drinking and ended up committing suicide. Upon being discovered, Hiruta was about to shoot Conan with a gun that he had hidden under his arm. | ||
