She used five of the six balloons. After the crime, she climbed up the mountain, she because she was rushing she ended up injuring her palm. And there are marks of the balloon and she also smelled of kerosene. Her motive was that Motoki was trying to find Takemi in the mountains by climbing down the cliff, without knowing that she was taking pictures below the mountain. Which inadvertently caused Motoki to fall from the cliff to his death. Eiko also confessed that she wanted to frame Hayashida, because he was jealous about the two of them and he knew that Motoki and Eiko were secretly dating. As a result he did not tell Motoki about the cliff and how dangerous it was to climb down from a certain area, he knew this but kept this to himself most likely hoping that he would at least hurt himself.</spoiler> |
