Conan fist explains that the man could change his flat cap and jacket at the beach store, but there was no way of changing out of his pants without going to the changing room. The man tries to explain himself by saying that he's changing so he can go clam digging, but Conan rebuts that it's late in the afternoon; everyone is beginning to leave and it's too late to start. Conan then points out the price tag attached to is hat which, proving that he had just bought and put on the hat. Conan finishes by saying that the strap is sticking out from his bag. The man then checks and smugly replies that it is fully hidden in the bag, ultimately exposing himself. The man tries to escape but Conan knocks him out with his soccer ball. + | The mysterious man turns out to be innocent. There were two Higo phone straps bought at the stadium, and the man also dropped his on the train, which was picked up by the boy and his father. Haibara's strap had actually been in Genta's hood, until it dropped out in a parking when it started raining. At the end, they are able to return the strap but it was partially destroyed, having been run over by a car. The DBs washed it and drew a replacement eye with a permanent marker. Haibara looks at the strap as her excitement turns into disgust and horror, refusing Conan's pleas to give him the antidote. Professor Agasa treats the Detective Boys for finding the strap, and Subaru asks about the driver of the RX-7 (Amuro) for a confrontation.</spoiler> | ||
