Invited by the elder son of a deceased non-fiction writer named Eijiro Tone, Kogoro, accompanied by Ran and Conan, heads for Tone family's half-submerged mansion to investigate the hidden legacy mentioned in Eijiro's will. Soon after their arrival, a murder targeted at one of the inheritor occurs. Meanwhile, the bridge serving as the only connection to the outside is exploded. With the assistance of Heiji and other visitors, Conan is on the way to reveal the truth behind the case linked to the cursed legacy left by Eijiro.
