− | <spoiler> | + | <spoiler>The culprit is '''Kuniko Yamamoto'''. After committing the murder, she took Naomi Fujimura's cellphone and went to the station to meet Obayashi and Kaneda. Then, using the cellphone in her pocket, she called her own phone and pretended to talk with Fujimura. The only thing she to do was return the phone during the commotion after the body was discovered, and reveal that Yamamoto has a plastic bag in her pocket. She put Naomi's cellphone in the bag and took it away. And in the plastic bag several fingerprints and there is a weird vertical pattern was discovered, and tells that Yamamoto that on her cellphone there are numbers 02058252805. To call her number, only the center buttons are necessary hence the vertical fingerprint pattern as she dialed through the plastic bag. |

+ | Yamamoto and Fujimura sought the recommendation for a job in America after graduation, it was with a well-known company, and Naomi, who was already talented, became a successful designer with them. But she was supposed to have been chosen, but Naomi used her feminine charms on the professor to steal the position for herself, Yamamoto didn't know a thing about it until the professor let it slip one time when they were having drinks. She was exaggerating a little, but the truth is she was fired from her job just because she had a little too much to drink once. She felt humiliated and blamed Naomi because she took her happiness away from her.</spoiler> | ||
