FUNimation version
FUNimation did not adapt this particular opening song for their English release of the show. Although the uncut Japanese version appears on their DVDs the song doesn't sync up quite right with the animation. The version used on the FUNi releases is not as up beat as the original version. This is most likely because FUNimation did not receive the licensing rights to the specific cut of the song that was used for the original version of the show, so they used the album cut instead.
Synopsis
Conan Edogawa is slowly walking toward the camera, appearing out of the mist, while telling you a brief summary of the episode that will begin. We see several images of Conan and then we see him in space, similar to the first opening. Conan and Ran Mouri appear looking at a landscape, the scene then switches to Ayumi showing Conan a picture she drew, depicting himself. Mitsuhiko and Genta look annoyed at Conan, and then Sonoko says something that makes him blush.
The scene switches to Ran and Sonoko Suzuki singing in a karaoke club, then Mitsuhiko and Genta sing, followed by Ayumi and finally Conan, but when he starts to sing, everyone is treated to his usual tone-deaf voice.
Juzo Megure, Wataru Takagi, Hiroshi Agasa and Mouri Kogoro look around to Conan running up towards them, watching as Ran is kidnapped by a man. Conan uses his High Intensity Shoes to kick a ball and knock out the kidnapper.
We then switch to a shot of Conan and Shinichi on opposite sides of a mirror, spinning dramatically. Then a super-imposed, strangely-lit Ran appears, holding the mirror. Lastly we see a four-panel cut of Kogoro, Conan, Shinichi and Ran's eyes, and the song ends.
