- The 37th Detective Conan opening is now being used in the anime. It is sung by VALSHE and is titled "Butterfly Core".
- The 46th Detective Conan ending is now being used in the anime. It is sung by DAIGO and is titled "Ima Aitakute...".

- Ichiro Nagai, the voice actor for Jirokichi Suzuki, passed away on January 27, 2014 at the age of 82. The cause of death is currently being investigated.
- Seizo Kato, the voice actor for Kiyonaga Matsumoto, passed away on January 17, 2014 following complications with cancer.
- Lupin III vs. Detective Conan: The Movie was released in Japan on December 7, 2013.
- Movie 18 entitled Dimensional Sniper is set to be released in Japan on April 19, 2014.
- A new anime special tentatively titled The Disappearance of Conan Edogawa: The Worst Day in History is scheduled to air in 2014 for the 20th anniversary of the manga.
