Situation
Part 1
Eri Kisaki meets up with two other lawyers, one male, and the other female. Both attended school with her in the past. Kogoro later gets drunk and falls asleep in the bedroom of the female lawyer's room. When they return to the room, she's dead, and the door is locked from the inside, making Kogoro the prime suspect.

Part 2
Eri pretends to believe that Kogoro is the criminal in order to decieve the true culprit. She and Conan search for clues in order to clear his name, and find a way to trick the true culprit into revealing that he's the criminal.

- The plot to this case is later adapted for a fictional movie starring Yoko Okino in the manga files 984-986 and the anime episode 901-902.
- In this case, a certain group of lawyers refer to Eri Kisaki as Queen, which in The Fourteenth Target, she was the queen target, I do not know where her 12 number character came in, however in the English Dub, her name does mean queen is various languages. As far as Japanese -English online translator her name means Princess English Li, unless I am misunderstanding the Kanji symbols.
