Trivia
- The film Running in Handcuffs, of which Takagi is such a huge fanatic, is a fictional titular variation of the 1958 film The Defiant Ones, starring Sidney Poitier and Tony Curtis, which sports a similar plot of two men bonding with each other while chained together.
- The plot shares also some similarities with "The Wind Is Hot in Morocco", the 30th episode of the anime series Lupin III Part II , where Lupin III and Inspector Zenigata must flee a group of war fanatics chain-linked to each other by their necks.
