The Norwegian version of the Detective Conan Manga started in 2004 at the same time as the finnish manga. The name of the manga in norwegian can be transliterated as "The Master Detective Conan" (Mesterdetektiven Conan). It is published currently by Egmont, a danish media group and one of the leaders of the domain in Scandinavia focusing on magazines, comics and other journals. 31 volumes have been published until Egmont ceased activities for the Norwegian Manga in 2008. The volumes were translated by Jens E. Røsåsen and volumes can still be found for sale at Bokklubben.
