Kogoro, Ran, and Conan are eating at a restaurant. At the same moment, in the restaurant's private room, a company is having dissolution party. But after giving a speech, the company president, Jiro Kureno falls dead onto the floor.

The murder weapon was a needle with poison in the roses bouquet. After the interrogatory, Eiji Koshimoto, merchandise manager and former college of the president goes to the toilet, but did not arrive. Later, a waitress find Koshimoto strangled with a suicide note in his body.
