Situation

The Detective Boys and Conan met a group called the Elderly Detective League, who are similar to them. The Elderly Detective League said that they saw a thief with blond hair and followed him into a house, where they saw Kiyomasa Kuroda's corpse.

The Elderly Detective League then seemed to have solved the case and said the the blond thief killed Kiyomasa, but Conan is doubting whether that is the truth.

The culprit is Eitaro Tokunaga. He wanted to get revenge for a elderly lady whom Kiyomasa Kuroda hit with his car so that he could get her money. Some time later Kuroda murdered her by pushing her down the stairs leading to a train station. He had orchestrated the entire plot by forming the silver detectives, in doing so he could establish an alibi for the murder and tamper of any evidence along the way.

• Kiyomasa Kuroda's vehicle crashed Tae in past is a Dandilion Yellow Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V. The license plate number is 新宿 300, な 16-73 (Shinjuku 300, Na 16-73).
