The first Korean Magic Kaito Manga volume was released in 1998 by Seoul Cultural Publishers Inc. under the name IQ Jump Comics. It was published under the name Magic Kwaedu (매직 쾌두). The original run ended in 2009, after volume 4 was published.
In 2012, the four volumes were re-released by Seoul Cultural Publishers Inc. as the IQ Jump Comics Special, along with the new volume 5. The name was also changed to 괴도키드 (literally Phantom Thief Kid). The new edition was translated by Kim Yeon-jae (김연재). The five volumes were also sold as a lot sale for ₩ 15000[1].
