Situation

Part 1

The Detective Boys are on a camping trip but Professor Agasa forgot the tent. They then wander to a castle owned by an old mistress and learn that there's a secret treasure in the castle. Mitsuru Mamiya is actually the second husband of the eldest Mamiya daughter.

Attempted Murder
	Location: Secret passage Victim: Conan Edogawa Attack type: Bashing from behind Suspects: Katsuo Tabata, Mitsuru Mamiya, Takahito Mamiya, and Masuyo Mamiya Conan finds a clue to the treasure and enters a secret passage but is attacked by an unknown assailant.

The Detective Boys, Haibara, and Agasa begin searching for Conan but have no luck. Pausing their search, the group eats dinner and discusses the chess pieces in the garden and the mystery treasure in the castle. During dinner, Mitsuru tells the group about the burnt tower and about a supposed curse that has resulted in the tower being locked.

Burned Tower - Accident? (Past)

Location: Tower Victims: Mamiya family eldest daughter, her friends, servants, one of Masuyo's maids and around ten people Cause of death: Burned to death Suspects: Mitsuru Mamiya, Takahito Mamiya, and Masuyo Mamiya Five years ago, Ms. Mamiya the eldest daughter of Mamiya Family returned from oversea to celebrate her mother, Masuyo, birthday. However that night, she and several friends, long time servants and one of Masuyo's maid were burned to death by a fire.

Mysterious Death - Accident? (Past)

Location: Forest Victim: Mitsuru Mamiya's assistant Cause of death: Starvation Suspects: Katsuo Tabata, Mitsuru Mamiya, Takahito Mamiya, and Masuyo Mamiya Mitsuru Mamiya's assistant explored the burnt tower two years ago, but never returned. Ten days later, the assistant was found starved to death in the nearby forest. The police ruled the assistant's death as accidental from becoming lost in the forest. After this discovery, maids working at the castle spread the rumor that the assistant died of a curse by the mistress and the others who perished in the fire.

After dinner, Agasa and Haibara realize that something must have happened to Conan to prevent him from contacting anyone. Agasa is about to phone the police to investigate but upon seeing Conan's hat in the hallway, he is lured to an opening in the wall.

Attempted Murder
	Location: Secret passage Victim: Hiroshi Agasa Attack type: Bashing from behind Suspects: Katsuo Tabata, Mitsuru Mamiya, Takahito Mamiya, and Masuyo Mamiya Peeking in the opening to a secret passage while looking for Conan, Agasa is attacked by the same culprit who attacked Conan.

Part 2

When nighttime comes, Haibara investigates freely and is accompanied by the Detective Boys. They enter the same secret passage as Conan did and wander out of another secret entrance. Genta remains trapped in the passage and captured by the culprit.

Kidnapping
	Location: Secret passage Victim: Genta Kojima Suspects: Katsuo Tabata, Mitsuru Mamiya, Takahito Mamiya, and Masuyo Mamiya Genta is kidnapped while in the secret passage.

Mitsuhiko investigates the doorway to the castle's tower and disappears. Haibara and Ayumi investigate the abandoned tower of the castle and find the culprit using a secret entrance connected to the castle.

Attempted Murder
	Location: Toilet in the burned tower Victims: Ayumi Yoshida and Ai Haibara Suspects: Katsuo Tabata, Mitsuru Mamiya, Takahito Mamiya, and Masuyo Mamiya Ayumi was followed by someone upon her entering the tower. Luckily Ai saved her by hiding themselves inside a secret tunnel.

Resolution

Haibara and Ayumi find an old woman's corpse inside the secret tunnel in the tower and realize who the culprit is pretending to be, the grand mistress. The culprit has assumed the identity of Masuyo Mamiya and she then chased them throughout the corridor. The corpse belonged to a woman who hadn't walked for a long time, and the grand mistress is the only who fits the description.

Murder (Past)
	Location: Secret tunnel Victim: Masuyo Mamiya Cause of death: Starvation The maid locked the grand mistress in the secret tunnel, left her there to die and took her place. The grand mistress used her last strength to write a message warning of the maid's intentions.

Haibara explains to Ayumi that the murder assumed the identity to search after the treasure, faked senility, and killed the grand mistress's daughter in fear that she could expose her. She also killed of the long time servants for the same reason. When Haibara and Ayumi were coming out from under a floor tile in the castle main hall, the culprit grabs on and tries to kill them.

Attempted Murder
	Location: Castle main hall Victims: Ayumi Yoshida and Ai Haibara Culprit: Masuyo Mamiya Ayumi and Haibara found the exit from under a floor tile in the castle main hall, but Masuyo prepare to kill them.

Then Conan, Mitsuhiko, Agasa and Genta appear, thanks to that Mitsuhiko used Conan's glasses that the culprit purposely dropped to find where the three are confined. Conan reveals that he know the current grand mistress is an imposter because she knew the change in passport despite supposedly not having left the Mamiya mansion in years. She underwent plastic surgery look like Masuyo and had to travel abroad to keep said changes. She was one of the maids, Mutsumi Nishikawa, who had supposedly disappeared in the fire, which she caused within the tunnels. She killed the assistant to get rid of other treasure hunters.

After re-uniting with everyone, Conan reveals the location of the treasure. The treasure was the castle in itself, and a beautiful scene. Mutsumi breaks down realizing that she wasted ten years and killed a huge number of people just for this, and she's soon captured. Mitsuru was disappointed to learn of the treasure, but Takahito was relieved to learn the truth behind his mother's death. He had been suspicious about the fire and had been secretly investigating it.

Remastered version

A remastered version of both episodes aired on February 13th and 20th, 2010.
