Katsuya Shigehara (重原 克也 ,Shigehara Katsuya) is a Japanese anime film director. He takes part in the production of Detective Conan movies.

Biography

Katsuya Shigehara has worked on several Detective Conan movies, as a technical director and key animator, starting with Movie 22: Zero the Enforcer in 2018. Aside from that, he also served as stroyboard artist and technical director for ED58 Aozolighter. Incidentally, Shigehara frequently works with Yuzuru Tachikawa.

In 2024, he was in charge of the overall direction of Movie 28.
