Takaomi Kanasaki (金崎 貴臣 Kanasaki Takaomi?), born 24 April 1977, is a Japanese organizer, film director, and storyboard artist. He takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime and OVAs.

Biography

Takaomi Kanasaki was originally from Doga Kobo (動画工房), but was formerlly also affiliated with Daume (童夢). After graduating from Yoyogi Animation Academy (代々木アニメーション学院), Kanasaki joined the anime industry in 1993. After 2016, his name has been credited as "金崎貴臣" instead of "金﨑貴臣" (even though the correct spelling is the latter).

Kanasaki joined the production of the Detective Conan anime during the Koujin Ochi era; in 2009, he served as organizer and storyboard artist for many manga adaptation and anime-original episodes, starting with Episode 534: The New Scar and the Whistling Man. In 2011, he quit the production team after working on Episode 624: A Video Letter of First Love.
