The Detective Conan manga was published by Tora Aman, a publisher mainly for releasing the Malaysian version of Doraemon, hence its name sounding similar. Publication stopped in early 2017, Tora Aman citing declining sales due to the increase in GST to 6% and the Malaysian economical crisis of 2007, and a closing sale was held in April of the same year, before the publisher officially closed on May 31, 2017[1]. The Chinese Malaysian manga thus stopped at Volume 77.
