Plot

The chapter opens on the museum where Jirokichi's new exhibit takes place. Sonoko, Conan and Ran are in line waiting for the museum's opening, when they notice Azusa and Amuro in the line. They exchange a few lines where Azusa talks about her excitement to see Kaitou Kid. To pass time, Amuro proposes to do a card trick, and is greeted by a mysterious man who just arrived. He shows him an even more impressive card trick and makes dove fly above them before leaving the premises. Amuro then calls Kazami who is at a Yoko Okino concert to check on him and reminds him to be at the exhibit. At night, the group enter the main exhibit showroom where they meet Nakamori and Jirokichi, not without the inspector pinching Amuro and Kazami's faces to make sure they aren't Kid. Jirokichi then demonstrates his new security system to prevent Kid, which features an incredibly fast net. In secret, Amuro talks to Kazami about the mysterious man they'd met earlier while performing card tricks and exposes his suspicions that it was Kid in disguise. A riot policeman then shows up and shows the Kid notice to Inspector Nakamori and the others. He then leaves, not without Conan finding out that he was Kid in disguise.
