- The Whistling Bookstore 2 is the sequel of this episode.
- The bookstore is called the "Whistling Bookstore" because of the train on the park next to the bookstore, which runs at 11 am and 3 pm.
- The ambulance with license plate number 新宿 800, ひ 47-62 (Shinjuku 800, Hi 47-62) reappears in Conan Disappeared on the Cliff, but this time there is a mistake with 神奈川, instead 新宿.
- The truck is a 2007 Nissan Atlas [F24].
- At the beginning, when the Detective Boys are helping push the cart, Conan's location changes from one scene to the next.
