SARD UNDERGROUND (サード アンダーグラウンド Sādo Andāguraundo) is a Japanese rock band formed in 2019. Established as a tribute to ZARD and its deceased leader Izumi Sakai, the band released their tribute album ZARD tribute on September 18, 2019. They then released their first original single Sukoshi Zutsu Sukoshi Zutsu on February 10, 2020, which was appointed as the 61st ending song of Detective Conan anime.
On May 28, 2021, it was announced that Miyu Akasaka would leave the band due to poor health.[1]
On September 22, 2024, it was announced that Izumi Sugioka and Hiromi Sakamoto would leave the band on September 30, 2024, and SARD UNDERGROUND will continue as Yua Shinno's solo project.[2]
