Shigeru Yamazaki (山崎 茂 Yamazaki Shigeru) is a Japanese technical director. He does episode directing works for Detective Conan anime.

Biography
Shigeru Yamazaki debuted as an animator in 1993, by virtue of the animation work Tanoshii Willow Town (楽しいウイロータウン).
Yamazaki joined the production of the Detective Conan anime in 2005, starting with Episode 387: The Dissonance of the Stradivarius (Postlude); later began to take part in the anime production spontaneously.
Starting 2010, Yamazaki was in charge of the episode directing of those episodes outsourced to the BIG BANG studio, in a somewhat regular fashion. Until 2013, after the episode Episode 687: The Unsolvable Ice Trap, the BIG BANG regular episode director position was transitioned to Takanori Yano.
