VALSHE (バルシェ Barushe?), born September 15, is a Japanese female singer, signed under the Being Inc. label. She is well known as a Ryouseirui (両声類, lit. "both voice types"), being able to sing both male and female voice types.

Valshe debuted as a Niconico singer in 2009. She and producer-utaite of Niconico, Tourai (also known as minato or RyuuseiP) have collaborated on many projects and have hosted various live sessions together. Occasionally her songs are made by composer of Vocaloid, doriko. She is also known to be good friends with the illustrator of Niconico, Hakuseki, who does almost all of the artwork for Valshe's albums and utattemita videos.

Valshe's single, "BLESSING CARD", got the 30th place on the Daily Oricon Charts. Another single, "Butterfly Core" won the first place on the USEN HIT J-POP. And her album "V.D." was ranked 10th in the Oricon Charts.

Valshe usually appears as an avatar illustration (drawn by Hakuseki) with blonde hair and blue eyes. She usually does not show her own face. Her first appearance as herself is on the cover of her 6th single, "Butterfly Core".

She had her first concert "LIVE THE JOKER 2013" in the Akasaka Act Theater on November 30th 2013.

A media project named "WRITERZ" was released in spring 2014 including 4 characters. Cast: Nobunaga Shimazaki, Valshe, Hikaru Midorikawa and Showtaro Morikubo. Valshe herself is said to be the visual director and producer for the project. It is also said that the illustrations will be done by her illustrator Hakuseki.

Valshe's second single, "JESTER", is the theme song of the PSP otome game Kannō Mukashibanashi and the ending theme of the TV variety show Akesaka Satomi no Aketere. The song "Another Sky" in the single "JESTER" was used in the Xbox 360 game Ever17 as the grand ending theme. Her song "Fragment" from her third single "AFFLICT" was the ending theme to the variety show Kiseki Taiken! Unbelievable. Her fifth single "BLESSING CARD" is the second ending theme of the TV anime Tanken Driland: 1000-nen no Mahō.

To date, two of her singles were used as theme songs for the anime Detective Conan. Her sixth single, "Butterfly Core", is the 37th opening theme song, and her ninth single, "Kimi e no Uso", is the 49th closing theme song. She also provided vocals as Layla in Konya, Anomachikara's single "Kuufuku", which is the 68th closing theme song.

On June 30, 2023, it was announced that Valshe's contract with B ZONE will end on August 31, 2023.[1]
