Manga to anime changes
- The anime adds a scene where Gekko and Tsukikage fight over their relationship as brothers, causing him to lose control of the Overlord's sword. In the manga, Onimaru simply pushes Gekko away saying that "he" is the real demon here.
- The scene where an old Sayaka helps Gerozaimon and Namako-Otoko push a boat is an anime addition. Thus, Gerozaimon, Namako-Otoko and Sayaka do not appear in the respective manga chapters.
- Professor Kanabo's commentaries on Yaiba are also an anime addition and he does not appear in the chapters as well.
Trivia
- Insert song: Yūki ga Areba by Kabuki Rocks.
- Even though they appeared in the previous episode on the boat with Sayaka, Namako-Otoko and Gerozaimon, Kagetora and Shonosuke are erased from this episode.
