Manga to anime changes
- The anime adds the part where Gekko shoots his rocket launcher towards Hangetsu, killing him instantly. In the manga, it is unknown what happens to him once Mine Dojo gets destroyed by Gekko.
- The anime adds a passage where Kumo-Otoko escapes the carnage by saying that he has groceries to do.

References
- ^ The name Mochiron is a pun, since "mochi" means glutinous/gooey and "ron" can be a reference to their round shape. The word "mochiron" means "of course" and when Gekko says their name, Yaiba wonders what he means by "of course".
