Template talk:Countdown

From Detective Conan Wiki

Add hours, minutes, and seconds?

I see that this counts down only the days, and was programmed to do so by cutting off the decimal. I'm not sure if we should make a separate template, but, it might be even more useful if we have hours, minutes, and seconds (of which are calculated by using the decimal). Of course, the input has to have a time parameter for this to work. --Avico (talk) 21:02, 25 December 2024 (UTC)

Wow you are being very attentive; I'm impressed. I was just experimenting out with templates, and it is clearly unsure if this will be of use in the future, yet I have a will of changing the way the main page's latest manga chapter or anime episode displays with a countdown, but if I want to do so I'll have to thoroughly test and develop another template, eventually present that to other admins... --BOBO (talk) 21:07, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
Initially I intended to incorporate also the hours, minutes, and seconds, making it sort of dynamic. But I am assuredly pretty lame at editing wiki so I am not capable of doing that (laughs), even by asking Mr. GPT he was clueless too. If you know how this works, please help lol --BOBO (talk) 21:09, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
I can definitely see a use for adding hours, minutes and seconds, though it may be only one-time use. That is the 30th anniversary of the first Japanese broadcast of the DC anime. Otherwise, if we're using this for manga and episode releases/broadcasts, days only is good enough. --Avico (talk) 21:12, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
