The Darkness Orb is the Entrance to the Dark World (闇の玉は暗黒世界への入り口 Yami no tama wa ankoku sekai e no iriguchi) is the 26th episode of Kenyuu Densetsu Yaiba anime. It aired on October 1, 1993.

- Puns used in the episode include:
- Yaiba calls Goemon a "Kumadori", which is the stage makeup used by Kabuki actors, referencing the fact that he is a bear (in Japanese "Kuma") and wears makeup similar to a stage actor.
- When Kumo-Otoko sends Yaiba's fireballs back to him, he yells "Tamaya" (玉屋), the name of a popular guild of fireworks makers in Edo Japan.
- Yaiba, in a state of rage, says that Kumo-Otoko and Goemon are both not human. They reply by saying of course, since they are "Kumo-Otoko" (spider-man) and "Kuma-Otoko" (bear-man) as a joke, since the two words resemble each other phonetically.
- The second eyecatcher (transition panel for commercial breaks) of this episode is different from the one in the other episodes. Instead of getting the sword stuck in his butt while juggling with it, Yaiba manages to catch it.
