After a hiatus of eight years, the infamous gentleman thief known as Kaitou Kid reappears in Tokyo. Kaito Kuroba, a cocky magician and class clown from Ekoda High, takes it upon himself to catch the thief, but finds that the connection between him and Kid is far deeper than it seems to be at first glance. First appearances of Kaito Kuroba/Kaitou Kid, Aoko Nakamori, Keiko Momoi, Erika Konno, Ginzo Nakamori, Detective Konno, Toichi Kuroba, Chikage Kuroba, Konosuke Jii, and Kaitou Corbeau. Kaito learns that his father was the first Kaitou Kid, and takes the mantle from his father's assistant and friend Jii. Kaito swears to continue as Kaitou Kid until he discovers the truth behind his father's death.

Kaito's string of successful heists as the new Kaitou Kid has attracted the attention of a shadowy criminal syndicate that also chases valuable jewels. As the two parties clash over the Indian sapphire known as Blue Birthday, Kaito may just uncover a clue as to the truth behind his father's death... Kaito meets the Syndicate that killed his father and learns about Pandora, the gem that supposedly brings immortality. He pledges to find Pandora first and destroy it. Kaito surprised Aoko by putting 'Happy Birthday Aoko' on a building display followed by fireworks. First appearance of Snake and Magic Kaito Sub-boss.

The Blue Parrot, a billiards bar owned by Kaito's faithful assistant Konosuke Jii, is about to go out of business. In hopes of saving the bar, Kaito sets out to win the Legendary Cue, a diamond-inlaid cue that had been swindled from Jii years ago by the billiards club across the street. Kaito and Aoko pretend to be a married couple to enter the bar. A bit of Jii's backstory is elaborated on.
4	4	A Great Detective Steps Into the Light	October 25, 2014			MKV3 - C2~C3
Saguru Hakuba, famed teen detective from London and son of Tokyo's police superintendent-general, returns to Japan seeking to capture Kaitou Kid. Kaito may have found his toughest opponent yet - especially when Hakuba enrolls in the same class as him! First appearance of Saguru Hakuba.

Come Valentine's Day, transfer student Akako Koizumi seems to have captured the heart of every boy at school... except for Kaito Kuroba. Unfortunately for Kaito, Akako happens to be a witch of considerable power - and she'll stop at nothing to make sure every man in sight adores her! First appearance of Akako Koizumi. Aoko prepares a chocolate for Kaito, claiming to have prepared it out of pity. Akako also develops an obsession with Kaito, the only man to elude her magical charms.

On the eve of his latest heist, Kaito stops and reminisces over one of his closest calls - a bid to steal Ekoda's clock tower, and the other renowned teen detective who almost stopped him. Kaito's first meeting with Aoko is depicted. Shinichi Kudo and Juzo Megure appear.
7	7	Kaito Kuroba's Busy Holiday	November 15, 2014			MKV1 - C4
When Inspector Nakamori catches a glimpse of Kaito's face at the latest Kid heist, he begins to suspect that Aoko's friend isn't all he seems. Fortunately, Aoko is determined to clear Kaito's name... unfortunately, she plans to do so by having Kaito take her on a date at Tropical Land! Aoko convinces Kaito to take her on a date to Tropical Land in an attempt to prove to her father (and to herself) that Kaito isn't Kid.

Ekoda High is haunted after hours... or so the rumor goes. The ever-intrepid Kaito and Aoko take it upon themselves to investigate, but the real source behind all the scares may turn out to be more fearsome than any mere ghost. Akako is forced to acknowledge that she cannot bring herself to kill Kaito.

A distributor of fake antiques targets Kaitou Kid, suspecting that Inspector Nakamori and his daughter may have been orchestrating the thief's exploits all along. How are Kaito's father and the mysterious thief known as the Phantom Lady connected to all this? And how will this knowledge help Kaito when the syndicate corners him and Aoko atop Tokyo Tower? The story of how Kaito's father Toichi met his mother Chikage is told, as well as Toichi's first (unofficial) exploit as Kaitou Kid I.

Kaitou Kid may have escaped from the Tokyo Tower alive with Aoko and sent the perpetrators to justice, but his work is only half-done. There are more fake antique dealers following their master's lead, and his new assignment is to uncover them at the Suzuki Museum's new Ryoma exhibition! Conan Edogawa, Ran Mouri, Sonoko Suzuki, and Jirokichi Suzuki appear.
11	11	Kid and Conan’s Ryoma Treasure Illusion	December 13, 2014			V70 - F3~4
Kaito's gambit to reveal the fake antique dealers should go off without a hitch... if it weren't for a certain irritating, pint-sized detective attending the Ryoma exhibition. To pull off this trick, Kaitou Kid must contend with not only the dealers, the police, and the glory-hungry Jirokichi Suzuki, but also the razor-sharp mind of Conan Edogawa! Conan Edogawa, Ran Mouri, Sonoko Suzuki, and Jirokichi Suzuki appear.
12	12	Christmas Eve - Two Kaitou Kids	December 27, 2014			MKV3 - C1
Kaitou Kid has been off Tokyo's streets for three months, leaving Inspector Nakamori with a serious case of the holiday blues. But as Christmas approaches, the unscrupulous owner of a certain department store is determined to use a Kaitou Kid heist to drive up sales... even if he has to make his own! After a three-month hiatus, Kaitou Kid affirms his fondness for Inspector Nakamori. The Inspector, despite himself, is pleased.
13	13	Stay Away From Him	January 10, 2015			MKV2 - C1
Ekoda High's ski trip ends on an eccentric note: a ski masquerade where every boy and girl must pair up! Through it all, the tangled relationship between Kaito, Aoko, and Akako grows thicker than ever. Aoko expresses a desire to pair up with Kaito; ultimately, Kaito and Aoko win first prize at the ski masquerade, dressed as Kaitou Kid and "Princess Nakamori". Akako's obsession with Kaito also redoubles.

Kaitou Kid's next target: the Crystal Mother, a topaz in the possession of Queen Selizabeth of Ingram. Kid has two-and-a-half hours to steal the gem before the queen's train makes its final stop in Osaka, but that may not be enough when a certain gunman also makes it aboard... Snake appears.

Princess Anne of the Principality of Sabrina arrives in Japan, bringing with her Europe's biggest diamond and a trigger-happy European cop who quickly kicks Inspector Nakamori to the curb. To outwit this new foe, grab the jewel, and restore Inspector Nakamori's standing, Kid will need help from a most unlikely assistant.

Travel down memory lane to see Kid's first-ever match against the egotistical millionaire Jirokichi Suzuki. The competition: hordes of cops, the best private security that money can buy, and the ever-tenacious Conan Edogawa. Conan Edogawa, Ran Mouri, Sonoko Suzuki, Kogoro Mouri, and Jirokichi Suzuki appear.

Kaito usually isn't the theater-going sort, but things change when the world's biggest emerald is going to be used as a prop. In-between snatching the jewel from under Inspector Nakamori's nose, Kaitou Kid may just find the time to lend some confidence to a young, bullied actress.

Another world-famous thief sets foot on Kaitou Kid's turf: Chat Noir of France. Never one to back down from a challenge, Kaito quickly finds himself braving the security system of Hotel Ocean to steal a ring that once belonged to Marie Antoinette. Hakuba reveals that he knows Kaitou Kid's secret identity (though he has no solid proof). He urges Kaito to not let himself get caught by any other authority.

In the dark of the night, Kid and Chat Noir clash over the Golden Eye, each looking to outwit the other. But what secrets lie behind this mysterious ring?

Another new phantom thief appears in Tokyo: the black-clad Kaitou Corbeau, who claims to have studied alongside Toichi Kuroba himself! The newcomer poses a challenge to Kaito: see through his tricks, or hang up Kaitou Kid's mantle for good. Snake appears.
24	24	Midnight Crow (Part 2): Clash! White or Black!?	March 28, 2015			MKV5 - C4~C5
What should have been a private battle of wits between Kid and Corbeau is compromised by Snake and his lackeys, still searching for Pandora after all this time. Can the two phantom thieves put aside their differences to overcome a common foe? And just how does Corbeau know so much about what makes Kaitou Kid tick? Kaito suspects that Kaitou Corbeau's assistant was his mother. Snake appears.
