Conan knocks out Kogoro with his stun gun wristwatch and begins to reveal his deductions with the voice changing bowtie. It was no suicide but it was actually a murder. Someone had this planned out right from the beginning. The person could have suggested, something like this to Mishima, that they should put up an act at the party, so that they could give people a scare. For this act, they quarreled before everybody so as to lay the setting for today. | Conan knocks out Kogoro with his stun gun wristwatch and begins to reveal his deductions with the voice changing bowtie. - In comparison to many previous cases, where the victim and all the suspects were from the same department, they are from four different departments as well: Law, Literature, Engineering, and Physical Education.
- Although Genta and Mitsuhiko have seen Sleeping Kogoro in action, and even saw Conan temporarily come out of hiding in the Deduction Show in Detective Club Pursuit Case, this is Ayumi's first chance to witness both of those aspects of the Deduction Show, however none of them know Conan is behind Sleeping Kogoro.
- This is the second episode that a person dresses as a Kamen Yaiba character was a culprit. The first case was Hijacked Department Store Case, when it was some of the Department Store Hijackers.
