The Case of Ayumi's Illustrated Diary 2 (歩美の絵日記事件簿2 Ayumi no Enikki Jiken-bo Tsū ) is the 1040th episode of the Detective Conan anime.

Situation
Conan, Agasa, and the Detective Boys are on the way home, when Ayumi notice a crowd surrounding a building. There is a light flashing repeatedly from the building, making a morse code for "SOS". They then decide to look inside the building.
There, they found Masaru Danno tied inside a room, while using his feet to turn the light on and off. After being rescued, he tells them that there is a bomb inside the building, before fleeing the building. The Detective boys follow him, but Conan stays inside to find the bomb. Danno then go back inside to take Conan away from the building.

When Conan and Danno is outside, the police already arrived. Chiba says that they received an anonymous call about the light. Later, Danno tells the police that when he went to deliver a package to some nasty-looking guy, a gun fell out of the guy's pocket. He later got struck on the head from behind. After he wake up, he heard the culprits discussing about blowing up the whole building.
The bomb squad later find a possible bomb inside a box in the building. However, it turns out that the box only contains an ordinary alarm clock. Takagi decides to leave the rest of investigation to the forensics team. Not long after that, Chiba recieves a phone call, informing him that there was an armed robbery at Kaneko Jewerly. Conan later finds out what actually happened.
