− | <spoiler> | + | <spoiler>Conan tranquilizes Sonoko and reveals the culprit to be '''Hiroshi Akimoto'''. A bit after 11:30 p.m., he returned to the tower with Nonaka, and pushed him over the railing. In order to distract Ran, Sonoko, Conan and Eda, he lied about a satellite which should have passed there in those moments, causing them to pay attention to the opposite side of the tower. And, about the one they saw who fall, it wasn't Nonaka, it was a doll tied onto the railing a bit next to where he was standing and quickly secured it with fishing string, but there are fresh marks on the railing. And then fifteen minutes after midnight the timer connected to the string dropped the doll. He used them to witness his location at the time by watching it with them, by making himself one of the witnesses of the accident: he created a seamless alibi. And also, the doll is under of his car, where he hurried to the location as fast as possible making sure to stop over it, easily concealing it from them. And while they were around the dead Nonaka, he moved the doll, made with an orange blanket with fishing string attached, into the car. Alost, he's the one who arrived at the tower but the last to approach the corpse. To make things worse for him, the picture taken by Akimoto had a shooting star, where this evidences that Nonaka's picture wasn't taken that day. Actually, he wanted to replicate the same photo, so he bought a camera like Nonaka. Then, went to the tower the day before and took two photos, unless he had the murder plan, he wouldn't have done so. And after killing Nonaka today, he set the doll, replaced the recent film from Nonaka's camera, replacing it with the prepared film. But, then there is a flaw to his trick with the fixed filming method, that was the shutter noise, after changing the film, he can't press the shutter, that means, the prepared pictures would be distorted. Also, when he saw "Nonaka" falling from the tower, he ordered to call only the police, instead of an ambulance too. Akimoto confesses and reveals Nonaka took the Star Pioneer for himself, despite collaborating, when it was his dream, even though he had to do co-research with someone else. |
