- The Nippon Dome shown in the episode is in fact the Tokyo Dome, a stadium in Tokyo opened in 1989.
- The two baseball teams at the Nippon Dome are the Tokyo Mets, named after the New York Mets, and the Tokyo Onix, the team created by Takeshi Onimaru.
